SDC Assists Moldova in Implementing the Protocol on Water and Health

The UN Water and Health Protocol implementation in Moldova was the topic of a seminar organized by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Environment of Moldova on January 20. The event brought together over 60 participants among which were officials, managers of state agencies and companies, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) and the World Health Organization (WHO) experts, the environmental NGO delegates and researchers. The purpose of the assembly was to inform the stakeholders and the large public about the importance of this treaty for Moldova, and to spark off an exchange of opinions on the development of national target indicators.
